Body Angling & Contact Foundations Clinic

This clinic focuses on teaching body contact the right way — starting with angling, positioning, and puck protection before physical contact.

Players will receive:

  • 2 on-ice sessions focused on angling mechanics, body positioning, and competitive application

  • 2 hours of off-ice training, including:

    • Short 10–15 minute video sessions to visually break down contact concepts

    • Active puck-handling work using tennis and golf balls to reinforce control and coordination

Total training time: 4 hours (2 hours on ice + 2 hours off ice) over two days.

Designed to keep athletes engaged while building confidence, awareness, and safe contact habits.

TWIG FEST 2026

10U and 12U teams will compete in a spirited weekend of hockey featuring a three-game guarantee plus championship game, with medals for 1st and 2nd place. Between games, players and families can explore educational resources and activities about Arbor Day and how simple acts of stewardship — like planting a tree — can create lasting impact.

Twig Fest 2026 is more than a hockey tournament — it’s a celebration of roots, growth, and community. Held right here in the birthplace of Arbor Day, Twig Fest honors Nebraska’s legacy of stewardship and environmental consciousness while inspiring the next generation to do the same — on and off the ice. 🌳
